North America (International) Multicultural Filmmakers Society

The North America (International) Multicultural Filmmakers Society (NAIMFS) is officially recognized by the government of Canada as a non-profit organization. The 1st annual Canada International Film and Television Festival was held by NAIMFS on November 12, 2014. Our mission is to promote multiculturalism across the world; we pride ourselves on being a multicultural country. We believe that each and every culture has their unique ways of expression and comprehension; yet we are still able to accept and appreciate our differences, and co-exist peacefully. We seek to invest into a wide range of films from around the world, as well as local productions. We have also been cooperating with highly experienced professionals in the film industry from Asia, North and South America, and Europe.

The 1st annual Canada International Film and Television Festival will be hosted by the NAIMFS on November. 8th 2014 in Vancouver, BC. We have also created a Golden Program, which is an unique event in our festival designed to promote engagement between the western and eastern cultures through interactive activities among filmmakers.

We welcome filmmakers of different cultures to join our society. We will hold lectures, seminars, and events throughout the year for filmmakers to exchange their works and experiences.  We would also like to give our support to talented screenwriters, directors, and actors. Please email us your resume if you are interested in joining our team. Your application will be processed as soon as possible.
