This year I am apart of the organization team for the youth division of the
North American International Multicultural Film Festival that will be taking
place on November 6th-8th. This year, those under 25 years of age have the
opportunity of sending in a short film to have it showcased at the youth
seminar on November 7th. There, Hollywood directors such as the Zondag Brothers, and Lion King
director, Robert Minkoff will all be there to watch. Other special guests include
Hollywood producer and honorary professor of Harvard University, David Traub,
former Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the International Emmy
Awards, Georges Leclere, and winner of the French Caesar award,
Jean-JacquesAnnaud, and several other notable people in the film industry.
1st place in the contest will receive a cash prize of $2000, and you may work
individually or in groups. Your film may not be any shorter than 3 minutes and
no longer than 30 minutes, and any recording device is allowed (yes, even phones).
The deadline is November 2nd.
When sending in your film, please include your name
(or names if it is a group/partner effort) and the title of your film
in the subject. A form will be sent for you to fill out as well.
If you have any other inquiries or wish to send in your film,
please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
